I just referred someone to this office based on the positive experience that I have had with the all of the staff at Lexington Women’s Care Irmo location. I highly recommend. Much better experience than other offices where I felt like a number.
Just awful - find somewhere else to go. NPs are awful, nurses are too. Office was dirty. Used glove was on the floor in my exam room. Front desk staff is cool, but they’re not the ones taking care of your health. Do yourself a favor and find an office that will listen and care for your needs.
I left this practice in 2017 after a very harmful experience. My TSH was low and T4 normal to slightly high, but Misty Sawyer told me to “watch what I put in my mouth” and prescribed Synthroid to lose weight — the exact opposite of what I needed. I have hyperthyroidism, and her treatment made it much worse. I already eat healthy, exercise regularly, and have food allergies, yet she focused on my weight instead of my lab results. The staff themselves were so so sweet, and Misty was alright the first appointment with how quickly the first appointment procedures went. My primary care doctor, however, found me a new doctor after I told her Dr. Sawyer suggested I lose weight to lessen my abnormal, heavy and irregular bleeding. For reference, the bleeding has stopped since coming off of a medication. Nothing to do with my weight.
Hello!!!!!! Well from the time I walk in the door to the time I left everything was awesome. Everyone was polite, wholesome, happy to be at work and a good rapport overall. May I add that it was Halloween so the office staff was dressed for the occasion (They knew the assignment!!). Thanks to these wonderful ladies Ms.Sawyer, Ms.Michelle, and Ms Coco for making me feel so comfortable.I just completed my checkout process and schedule another appointment as I was walking out Miss Coco said Happy Birthday!!!!
