Fort House We toured the house the end of June 2011 and it was a wonderful example of that era. The house was well kept and the furnishings were very good examples of things during the 1800's. The photo and pictures were intresting along with some of the clothing and items from the actual family. The house and grounds were small but it is worth seeing if you like things from years gone by. Doing business the old fashioned way... – I bought a Lasko gel tub from Winnelson for my new home. It is 4 years old and has cracks. Only guaranteed 3 yrs. No one is responsible for the bad tub. However, Densel Winnelson guarantees customer satisfaction and offered a refund or plumbing supplies if I needed them. He provided me a kitchen faucet and a pvc pipe cutter at no charge. Fort House www.historicwaco.org This is a great looking Greek style home. The man who built is, built it during the reconstruction period after the Civil War. This house is one of the few that have alot of the original furnishings. It has some of the most beautiful antique glass and Pickard China. This is a great place to relax and enjoy history.
