Ain't no better than Parkridge was.
I went to LMC Urgent Care. I was told I need to go to LMC Emergency, I went to West Columbia location. After waiting for two hours with food obstruction in my throat at LMC Emergency, I left and went to MUSC emergency w my eye I was seen with in a few minutes. I will never set foot in an LMC Emergency room again. As for LMC Urgent Care? Just what is it they can help someone with? I have been there twice and sent to LMC Emergency twice, I declined the first time in Nov 2024.
I'm giving the 1 star on waiting time in emergency area. Doctors and nurses was excellent when did get in. I think hospital needs to look into issue on waiting time and come up with new way to get everyone in and out faster. Almost 6 hours is ridiculous in and out time. System is NOT working they have in place now. Urgent care places is much faster. I understand others coming in with more life threatening issues come first.
