Herald Leader/ Bad deal! After a 3 month battle with this newspaper, I was finally able to aquire a refund for my 78 year old mother. The paper contracted for 1 year to porch deliver the paper. They did not perform and in fact cancelled the paper in August 2010. They tried to bill her for over $300.00. She had prepaid per their contract for 1 year of delivery. They now charge more for this service, but, last November signed a contract to porch deliver the paper for $168.00. The customer service to correct this problem was te... read more
Service is lacking The paper itself is just fine for the most part. It's the delivery of the paper that is horrible. I am one of the last people on my street to get the paper delivered due to how badly it is delivered. Everyone has called about this and the simply will do nothing about it, we've had our front window cracked, flower pots broken and are waken up at 4am everyday from the paper being thrown at the house. I would not recommend delivery, we are about to stop ours and just go buy it each day from Kroger, doing that... read more
great read. Lexington Herald is a fantastic paper. They have all sorts of opportunities for people to participate and send the in their own stories. I have met the people who work there and they are the nicest people. The photography in the paper is amazing.
DO NOT SUBSCRIBE! I have been trying to cancel my subscription after many phone calls. my credit card records show charge 16.95 Nov 28 cancel Nov 29 credit 16,95 and still being charge Feb 28 16.95 when spoke to them about they just wanted to continue subscription and told me to have a nice day. I’m so sorry I got into business with such a business that has such unethical practices, i would stay away from these kind people. Charles K no rating
DO NOT SUBSCRIBE! I have been trying to cancel my subscription after many phone calls, requests to speak to supervisors who are never available i was told it was canceled. Today I got a call saying it would be canceled in a few days and they wanted to keep my subscription going. I also received an email saying it was going up but not to worry they have my credit card and they would just charge it. After looking at the 110 complaints on the better business bureau it looks like I’ll be fighting this for a while. I’m so sorry ... read more
Customer service has been harrassing me about renewing my subscription. Daily and from different numbers. Ignores my request to stop receiving calls. Do not subscribe. I am on the edge of having to change my number.
Poor customer service they took my money I never received a paper and there’s nothing they can do about it unless I subscribe and Get billed for future that’s the only solution I was offered after receiving no paper that I paid a month for
The poorest customer service in the world. I am skipped over and over again and no one will replace or even talk to me about my problems. Holding now to cancel my subscription if I ever get a person
