I visited Danville Endodontics yesterday for a root canal with a great deal of fear and apprehension, but both Dr. Weigle and his assistant were so very patient, wonderful, and obliging that I did get through it alive and actually had only minor pain (two Tylenol later all of the pain had gone). (I do think they should learn how to spell dam as I believe it needs to have an n added at the end.) WOW! At 58 I’ve had a bit of dental work done and this by far was the most professional, best care, high tech, and pain free dental procedure ever and it was a root canal… Can’t say enough good things about them. I hope I never need their services again but if I do it’s the only place I’d consider going to.
My root canal experience here was emotionally and physically intense. During the procedure, my jaw dislocated multiple times, and I was in a lot of pain. I started crying uncontrollably and felt panicked, overwhelmed, and honestly, pretty scared. In that moment, it felt like I wasn’t being fully heard, and I left the appointment feeling emotionally shaken and unsure about the care I had received. This was one of the worst dental experiences I’ve ever had. I was charged $300 just for a consultation with no procedure, then another $200 for the actual root canal. My insurance barely covered anything, which made the whole thing financially stressful. But the worst part was the procedure itself. My jaw popped out multiple times. Dr. Weigle and his team were awesome!! I needed a root canal and it was the quickest procedure I’ve had done!! They made sure I was comfortable, and made sure I knew step by step what they were doing. Dr. Weigle called me the next day just to follow up with my care, and to check in. Very friendly staff inside and out!!
