Phone experience was so bad I didn't even use the Health Department just went on to my Dr instead. People kept transferring me from one dpt to the next and rushing me off the phone.

Listen, I understand there's a of people who need assistance from WIC but several times now I have scheduled a remote appointment and not received a call whatsoever. They just update my benefits without saying anything. While I appreciate the update in benefits, what's the point of the appointment if you're not actually going to call?? When I do call the office back, they never answer. I've never seen a WIC office run so terribly. If you go in person you'll get better service but calling in is always a big issue. Horribly run government office. They want parents to work and have a job, but yet have the worst hours to do business. They say they open at 8am, but no one comes to work until 8:30. Why waste electricity an open the building at 8 if you can't help people until 8:30? So I'm a working parent trying to go on my lunch break from 12-1, I get here to find out the entire immunization office goes to lunch from 12-1. They need to do better, not all parents can afford to take a day off from work to do business.
