No one answers the phone for WIC, it just rings until the call is dropped. If you do happen to get someone to answer, when they transfer you the call will be dropped or it will take you to an answering machine and no one will ever return your call. My last appointment I took time off work waiting for someone to call me for my appointment, but that never happened and when I called to ask about it after an hour passed they said I may or may not still be getting a call and if I don’t answer I will just lose my benefits. The WIC office is the worst experience I've ever had. They may as well be walking in as appointments don't matter so expect to be here for AT LEAST 1+ hours past your appointment before you even get seen. The only positive was the employees seemed nice. But that doesn't excuse the TERRIBLE wait even with an appointment.
WIC office is terrible, lady went to the back on her cellphone. I was standing there at least 30 minutes and no one said anything to me. I am very disappointed that I am late for work when I was just coming to pick up a card!
