I felt like the providers and nurses all listened to my concerns with empathy and compassion and could tell I was anxious and distracted with my toddler and instead of being annoyed or frustrated they helped occupy my toddler and were kind and patient with me. I give Lewis Gale in Floyd a 10/10! They always make me feel important not just like another client. They listen and try and understand your concerns and meet your health care needs! A+. Dr.Akers has taken care of several of my family member’s. She is trusted with our care.
The office and clinical staff are always very friendly and welcoming, Dr.Akers is extremely thorough in her work, and I never leave with any unanswered questions!
Robin is a lovely NP. However- I asked on my first visit to not be told my weight and was then given a printout by the front desk that stated my weight and counseling on how to lose weight, which did not happen. They asked me to start getting allergy shots here instead of driving to Roanoke, but then make me wait 30 minutes for my appt and then again in the room. When I could not stay a full hour for an allergy shot the office called me and told me to go back to my previous doctor. I explained I am a single mom and my childc... read more
I'm very happy with my visit. Office staff is friendly and caring. The Nurse Practitioner actually listened and took her time. I didn't feel rushed at all.
