I went in for severe symptoms of Covid 19. body aches, fever, chills, headache, hard to catch my breath. They took me back right away. from what I could see and hear there might have been 3 people in the ER. They came in and took an x-ray of my chest, nurse came in for blood. no one asked me during check-in if I had allergies I had to bring it up to the nurse. WOW. Some type of female DR came in said I had pneomonia asked me my symptoms I had to repeat them several times as she could not hear or understand me not sure which.... read more

RecommendedNurses and other medical staff everywhere are going through a lot these days, and are due respect, recognition, and thanks. But, my family has been going to Henrico Doctor's, Forest since 1975. From my parents illnesses, heart attack, stroke, and surgeries to the births of my children, the staff has always been exemplary. RecommendedI had the pleasure of being a patient on IVCU@Forest. It is a great unit. Wonderful nurses and techs. Dr Levitt and NP Jennifer R were amazing. Having a heart arrhythmia is scary, being an ex cardiac nurse even scarier. Everyone was attentive and nice. I would recommend any of the Campuses of HDH.
My son who was 9 -month-old chocked the dry noodles accidently at my home. He showed some sign of chocking. We drove him to the nearby hospital which was Henrico Doctor hospitals at forest and admitted him to the Emergency . The emergency department checked him and deemed him out of danger immediately. There was not much medical intervention needed except they took a X-ray of his respiratory tract. The attending pediatrician confirmed that his airway was cleared and dis...Continue Reading

Without a doubt, the worst ER experience I've ever had. Inattentive staff, ridiculous wait times for basic diagnostics. Unacceptable. Will never come back here.

RecommendedThe Parham (5th Floor East) and Forest (3rd Floor Cancer Unit) campuses have absolutely amazing staff. I could not have asked for any better care, concern, and true empathy from everyone involved-house keeping, techs, nurses and doctors-as we worked our way through a diagnosis and treatment. I will forever be grateful.
