I highly recommend this ER. I have now been treated there two times. The doctors and nurses provide excellent care. A top-notch facility!
I spent over four hours waiting for people to call other people and eventually left. Upon arrival, the ER doctor said that he could not evaluate my issue but would call my surgeon. They tried contacting another LewisGale doctor at Salem who, despite being a specialist, refused to treat me. However, this refusal was not communicated to me until four hours later. I was very pleased with my first visit to this facility. NO WAIT, prompt professional care. Excellent.
Dr Barrett doesn’t believe flu like symptoms in kids is an emergency and doesn’t seem fit to come to an emergency room for that !! Nowhere in there guidelines does it say you can’t come to an emergency room for flu like symptoms
