Love this vet
I have contemplated writing this review for over a year, but I feel compelled because I have been bothered the whole time. I called Lewis Veterinary Services for an emergency colic in my 30 year old gelding on March 29 2024, which ended up being diagnosed as a strangulating lipoma. At the time the vet in the field told me they had seen success in relieving this condition in another case and offered an injection. She said that the side effects could include "sudden collapse". This practice has always responded well to emergencies and takes all concerns seriously. It was difficult to find the right fit for my 2 sensitive donkeys, but Dr. Brittany Albers-Obrien is amazing. Thanks to her, my donkeys are not full of anxiety during their appointments. She never brushes off a concern and is always willing to talk through treatment routes. She shows genuine compassion and respect to the animals she works on, and the animals notice. Big thank you to Sabrina as well for her patience with my BLM burro.
Excellent veterinarians! The doctors here, especially Dr Brittney, really do care about these animals and equines like they are their own pets. Before coming here, I had never had vets office call me the next to ask if my animal is ok; nor utilize texting to communicate. That is a HUGE🧨 customer service competent that I love.
