Wanted to spend money with them, but I've never had such a hard time giving money away! My dealings with Sam are wonderful and he is very pleasant. The older woman who answered my phone call today - I believe named Jackie - was unbelievably rude, even by the standards of old school Brooklyn businesses. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. Got a quote and nailed down next day delivery with Rotax Metals a little bit away. Worth the extra coin spent to see it go somewhere with some customer service.
I have been working with Lewis Brass & Copper Co. for over 7years now on many architectural projects and always found them to be helpful and decent pricing compared to others in the market. There weakness is delivery and shipping. You have to make all the arrangements for pickup's and deliveries which is extra steps that you have to do and responsible for.
