I recently got married at Lewana and can honestly say it was the perfect venue. The property is surrounded by stunning spring greenery, open fields, and peaceful forest, creating the most beautiful and relaxed setting for our weekend. I took my 3 children to Lewana Cottages as a short getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, and although my expectations of this place were met with beautiful animals, wonderful scenery and the outdoor facilities were good, the accommodation is in dire need of repair!!! We stayed in Cottage 2 and when we first walked in to unpack after a 4hr drive we noticed mould on the ceilings where it looks like it is falling down, then noticed two windows panes were smashed and the glass was ready to drop out in the Kitchen. Great location but a little run down.
We stayed for a family wedding, guests stayed in cottages but we were in our caravan. Errol was very helpful and obliging. Perfect setup for this kind of event, barn style with fire pit and party lights. We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. Even took our dog. Tnx Errol, Brett and Deb.
