I was calling them all day yesterday, left a few voice messages, as they asked me to do, and yet, no one ever picked up or called me back.
Dr Levy and staff are the best of the best. He does not force surgery and actually tries to avoid it when possible. I came to Dr Levy as a second opinion and I’m so grateful that I did. I injured my shoulder playing softball and had to stop playing due to continued discomfort. I even had to stop working out my upper body because the more I tried to exercise and rehab it, the more I was taking ibuprofen. I came in to have what we thought was a cyst checked out. I initially saw Dr. Lovy's PA, who was fairly helpful, but I didn’t appreciate how quickly surgery was pushed as the first option, they were eager to get me scheduled and pay a large amount up front. When I suggested trying a less invasive approach, the PA agreed to drain it, but it turned out it wasn’t a cyst at all. I was still charged for the treatment, even though it was misdiagnosed. Dr Levy and team did a great job. Shoulder is fantastic. However, they required me to pay in advance for estimated co-pay portion for surgical/Hospital fee not covered by insurance. No problem and they took my cash, stating they would handle payment to West Boca Medical center. Meanwhile $7k and 3+ months later his office has not paid the hospital and his billing department does not respond to multiple calls. Hospital is sending me to collections as I refuse to pay twice. Might want to consider this when selecting his office... read more
