We were with Levin and Horowhenua Vets for 7 years before returning home to Aus. During that time we joined the lifestyle block club, had the vets and tech nurses help us with our lambs, sheep, dogs, rabbits, cats, blind kitten and chickens. They knew we were invested in our animals and loved them all like pets because we were on that smaller footprint. Great people just expensive 🤑
Terrible customer service from the front counter staff. Have gone in for simple inquiries regarding flea treatment for my young pup and got about 5 staff trying to speak at once and talking over me and my partner multiple times 🤦♀️. Never experienced this anywhere else and it is very overwhelming and anxiety inducing.
Cat has abscess and I was told to take her home and "monitor" when instead they should have kept her overnight got it cleaned, flushed and stitched up. Rude reception staff who hang up on you. Seems they just care about the money. Staff on the desk need training to be a lot nicer, welcoming, empathetic, especially the lady with short purple hair - she made me feel like a criminal. If I could give zero stars I would. Mark the vet there is nice but the rest, not.
