Wow. Will not be taking our loved ones there. After today’s experience there . And Especially now also after reading the reviews. The lady at the desk was absolutely appalling, should not be at front of service at all dealing with customers. And looks like it’s hasn’t changed in years by looking at the reviews. Went in to vet to get the plug in delay. Spoke to receptionist why we wanted it. She told me to shut the cat in a room with it going. So we did we also were in the room with the other to animals. Strange thing happened that night I got really sick could not figure it out. Also the dog got sick that night. Maybe coincidence. But both of us went outside for fresh air half hour later we were both fine. The dog started eating again and felt better. My husband googled the product. As usual in any medical practice animal or human the idea is to keep the patient coming back for more check ups and medication. This is the hospital at the bottom of the cliff scenario that keeps repeat business happening over and over. All I wanted for my cat was a repeat prescription for an ailment that she had been seen for a few months back which was an antibiotic but they refused to give it because they wanted to see the cat again. We were with Levin and Horowhenua Vets for 7 years before returning home to Aus. During that time we joined the lifestyle block club, had the vets and tech nurses help us with our lambs, sheep, dogs, rabbits, cats, blind kitten and chickens. They knew we were invested in our animals and loved them all like pets because we were on that smaller footprint.
