I went to this office after not having care for 3 years and am ANGRY AND IN PAIN... EVEN MORE SO than the sub-par treatment I received!! DISAPPOINTED DOESN'T even cover it. I even referred them to TWO different new patients and those two never got a call back. I wish I HADN'T!! The receptionist had to leave my first visit because her sister was physically being beat by her boyfriend and this was a common occurrence apparently. They RARELY return calls. Dr. Lyle Amer is the best doctor that I have and probably the best doctor that I ever will have. All of my doctors are very good and have been very good. It’s not to say that they’re not. But Dr. Lyle, Amer has knowledge experience and education For lupus, arthritis, fibromyalgia, and other medical conditions, that other doctors have, we cannot treat nerdy as well . Dr. Levin retired and I liked him. The office staff, who are not medically trained, do not return phone calls or authorize prescription refills. The pharmacy has to fax and refax requests. It's just ridiculous.

I have had nothing but terrible experiences with this office. The doctors seems to be really good. The secretaries who run the front desk are awful. I live in Los Lunas and travel an hour and a half one way to see the rheumatologist. They schedule me on days the rheumatologist isn't meeting with patients for my needs. So not only do I drive there from a long distance, but they also had me wait an hour and a half before the doctor had to let me know he couldn't see me.
