I lived on the grounds of Hawkhead hospital with my grandparents for 6 months over the course of two summers. I believe they were the summers of 1959 and 1960. I was ten/eleven years old. My grandfather was a male nurse; my grandmother ran the candy store situated, as I recall, on one side of a huge field. I stayed in this hospital for a while and I found some of the staff to be very nice (for example, Aziza, my best regards), but there are some staff members, without mentioning their names, who do not deserve to work in a psychiatric hospital at all, so my advice to you is to take a good look at some of the staff. Thank you.
