What is now Levering Regional Health Care Center was once Levering Hospital. The original hospital was opened in 1903 and was a pioneer for hospitals in rural Missouri. Levering was named after Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Levering who donated both the land and the building. RecommendedRespectful, Polite, workable workers/staff members who care && make sure out residents are satisfied!.
Witnessed someone jump out of a 3rd story window because death was better than the living hell of the reality ;of the ongoing nightmare, of daily life here. Less than two years later; another resident jumped ,and is paralyzed for life. Now there are bars on all 3rd story windows to prevent such events.This is a literal man-made; hell on earth.
Great people to work with, very nice environment. Residents are well taken care of, and an administrator and DON who are involved in every aspect of care.
