This hotel has a lot going for it. The location is excellent, with plenty to see and do nearby, and the range of amenities is impressive. The rooms were comfortable, and the property itself is well-equipped for both business and leisure travelers. Unfortunately, the service didn’t live up to the rest of the experience. Stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved it - perfect location, less than 5 minute walk to West Loop with plenty of great food, bars, restaurants, etc. The property was clean and the concierge was very friendly and attentive. In regards to the room itself, we had a 1 bed and den layout for 3 people and it did the trick. They also had a pullout couch, which was nice if we would’ve had 1 more guest. Haven’t had to leave a bad review for any place I’ve traveled but here it is! Was scheduled to leave to catch my flight this morning and because of having to wait to find anyone who worked here to check out after repeatedly trying to call the reception desk that was empty saying they would be back soon but never showed , ended up missing my flight! Don’t waste your time, they don’t care!

-gross bedding/yellow mattress -horrible WIFI couldn't work/watch TV -no room cleaning for 4 night stays (asking for towels, new bedding and it not coming to your room) - drunk residents who tried to start a fight at the pool while we were sun bathing ( i had to deescalate and leave the pool. We were gaslight saying " it didnt happen. If it did happen we should have thicker skin") -Staff not at the desk. I hate to write bad reviews when I know that a facility is understaffed, so I must preface my write-up with this: Level is a relatively new building in the Chicago West Loop (mostly residential apartments), located in a slightly sketch area near a homeless encampment under the nearby freeway, but a very short walk to the fabulous Fulton Market district.
