Leucadia Cyclery has a bad attitude I met the owner of the store. I had a bike problem but the owner said that he wouldn't service the bike because it was too cheap and therefore not worth his time or effort. I went to Amazon Bikes, which wasn't in my neighborhood, and there I received fast and friendly service. I would much rather drive 9 miles to Amazon Bikes than wheel my bike a block and a half to Leucadia Cyclery. No wonder why locals despise the cycling packs when they have such a snotty attitude.
High prices, great products I came to Leucadia for the weekend a couple weeks back and brought my bike- but left my gloves at my apt in Los Angeles- I came to Leucadia Cyclery for the first time to get a decent pair. They had all the normal legit brands and I got a great pair of gloves! Only problem is that they are so expensive! $30 for the lower-end ones. But that's how bike or any specialty shop usually is.
