Do not use this company. Booked and paid in advance to hire a trailer for 4 weeks.After a long trip from UK and on my way on the ferry to Vancouver island I received an email saying the RV had been damaged and was no longer available .I was not offered any alternative and told that my account had been credited internally. After many phone calls and emails with Cam 5 months on I have not received a refund. Shocking!!
Pretty much the worst camper van rental experience I've ever had. Full story below. We rented a van last summer. When we got there, the one we had picked wasn't available so they gave us another one. No worries, all good. We load up our stuff and head up island. About 20 minutes after we left, the van is burning oil so intensively, creating a billowing cloud of smoke behind it, that a dude on a motorbike went out of his way to rip up from behind us, make a waving motion in front of his face to show his disgust and disdain in... read more
Absolutely loved this whole process. Easy to book, great communication from the company and the pick up/drop off of the vehicle was easy and stress free. The car itself was exactly what we needed for a 3 night camping trip around Vancouver island. We got to see all the sights we had hoped and camp in some really cool spots. Great value for money. Would 100% recommend and if I’m back on the island I would rent from here again
Our hardest choice about seeing vancouver island was what to rent, pretty much all the places mention 'no gravel Roads' The campers are old, they are super equipped for a rental to spend a few days off grid. If you want to go to Tofino, I would of rented this, if you want to see the rest of vancouver island... these are the vans
