Going back. Buildings are still there. Mostly decrepit and a bit dangerous to go far in most of them. Albeit, even if you don't go in any, you are able to see through the open/ tattered doorways and windows. Which makes it si worth it. You can walk around freely on a few acres. Thank you to the the police for allowing people to abandoned explore safely!
I went here several years ago and thought I heard a crying/screaming baby on our way out. Finally a friend also heard it and ran with me to investigate. It was Really screaming! We got closer and realized it did NOT sound like a baby. More like a very large, upset, wild cat of some kind. It was dark by then, I didn't have a light, and nobody would further investigate with me. It still bothers me to this day. I was young or I may have handled it differently...
Really cool place to walk especially if love history and abandoned places.
