My mom recently moved into Lester from a senior community in Livingston. She first went there since there was a temporary respite unit available after having a fire in her apartment. She was reluctant at first since she thought that most of the residents were not as lively as she is. On a short time she found that her days were filled with activities and made many new friends. My mom has been a resident of Lester Assisted Living for about 18 months. She initially came for respite care, but we knew this was her permanent move even before that. A few things that I would want prospective families to know: -The food, the food, the food! Mom raves about the food and really likes the dining manager and staff. She is lactose intolerant and this is never an issue. I could not have made a better decision than coming to Lester this past June. The people that live here, the staff that work here and the facilities are more than what I expected. I highly recommend this place for you or for your family members PS you don’t have to be 80 or 90 to live here. I’m 70 and I’m still working

Shelly Ann is great and always helpful and never hesitant to answer any of my questions. While we plan to apply for my mother next year, we feel informed and were given the answers we need.
