I've gone here to get my bangs trimmed and to get a Brazilian wax. I've found the staff to be extremely friendly. My actual waxing experience was great - very little pain and a really nice aesthetician.
If you have some money to burn and you are interested in pampering yourself, take advantage of L'Essence. The vital elements facial is not to be missed, nor is the Turkish Body Scrub (don't go for this treatment if you are shy). I have pedicures done here somewhat regularly. Their spa pedicures are the best in town if you need serious work done on your feet. If you have calluses this is the place to go for beautiful soft feet. The aromatherapy and the atmosphere is wonderful. The nail staff is friendly and easy to talk with.
Just what you would expect from an Aveda salon, high quality, good service, and nice atmosphere. Given the choice between this one and the one down at Summit Sierra (which is also good), I think this is slightly better (and definitely a more beautiful building--a an old Victorian house that's been converted to a salon)..
