I had Les repair a small hydraulic cylinder. It was done in jig time and he didn't charge me for his time or materials. He wasn't able to finish the job due to a welder problem, but that is something I can do. His time (and materials) is greatly appreciated. I offered to pay him something for his time, but he refused. Most shops would have charged a minimum fee (usually one hour labor).
