Even though we had a different cheap (10$) source for haircuts my girlfriend wanted to try another salon that was easier to work with. After her first appointment she let me know that I would not be taking her anywhere else. She is happy each time she returns home. The owner does great work and knows how to keep customers happy. Update - 6 years later and my wife still loves this place over any other.
Leslie's was a solid place! I got my haircut with Juan and it was overall a positive experience. He was friendly and knowledgable. However, I was a bit thrown off by the cost of the haircut as I declined the hair washing and the styling/product afterwards, but I was still charged $40 (not including tip) when their google site lists women's cuts starting at $30.
