Similar to several other reviews, I visit Leslie to have my pool water tested. The employee was not able to run the test as I was unable to answer a couple of his questions such as the size of my pool and the surface. Fair enough if he cannot run the test without this information, but he was rude about it. He was apparently upset before I walked in, and my failure to answer his questions just upset him even more. Not a good experience.
Gabe and Mike always do a great job helping with my pool supplies and ensure my pool is right. Very helpful and knowledgeable won’t let me buy items I don’t need. They are the reason I continue to use this Store. Edit 9/30/2025, Gabe and Mike have left the store last year and it's now terrible. I went in on Sunday (9/28) to get my pool water tested. I'm only giving a one star review.But only because I have to in order to write the review. I ordered the Polaris Max online. Because it said it was on sale.And there was a $125.00 rebate. My husband went and picked it up, came home and said it was either or that's not what was stated online. As I would have chosen the Rebate over a $50 drop in sale. When I called the store, I was told the same thing, but no answer as to why that wasn't specified in the ad. This is a little bit of deception on the part of Leslie's pool advert... read more
Staff is trying to drive away business, that’s the only explanation for how rude and condescending the staff is. I’ve started driving past this store to go elsewhere.
I went in for a water test and to buy chemicals, but the person at the counter refused service because I didn’t have an account—even after I explained I was a past customer. He wouldn’t look me up and insisted on starting over, but then refused to create a new account because I didn’t have the exact dimensions of my irregular pool (despite having the exact volume, which is what matters).
