The service was great, chill yet still very kind. Ordered a biriyani bowl + beef shawarma with fries. The fries were an unexpected highlight, as they were crunchy but soft, as well as packed with flavour! Biriyani bowl was delicious, had a good ratio between veggies, chicken, and rice. The spice was present but NOT overwhelming, it really made me want to continue eating. Beef shawarma was good, although the beef was a bit too tough. Overall flavours were standard.
Ordered shawarma at 8ish. Meat was not fresh or crispy at all, feels like they cooked it early in the morning or even yesterday. Didn't like the sauce inside the shawarma. Not sure what kind of sauce is that but I think supposed to be garlic. Not to mention, waiting time is too long.
I had a lamb wrap and donaor poutine. The lamb wrap's filling was delicious. The lamb wrap had complex layered flavour and just the right balance of sauce. The bread left something to be desired as it fell apart as I ate. Other similar restaurants use better bread but this was the best filling I've had so far. Priorities vary from person to person.
