In town for a wedding. I wanted something "local to Champaign". So glad I stopped in. Got the half chicken. Chicken was amazing. Rice was acceptable. But the chicken was so damn good. Cooked wonderfully. Flavor was great. Well done!
Steak kabab with rice was delicious. No complaints. I rated atmosphere at 3/5 to level set expectations. It’s a normal family type restaurant. Simple tables. Simple chairs.
All in all- terrible. Staff was rude from the start and acted like they were being inconvenienced by my party's order. The restaurant had no other customers, but we were never checked on after ordering at the counter. The food was probably the worst thing I've been served at a restaurant in years. The ribs were extremely tough, tasted like cinnamon and I ate about two bites. The only accompaniment was white rice. It was undercooked and left a fair amount of water on the plate.
