All in all- terrible. Staff was rude from the start and acted like they were being inconvenienced by my party's order. The restaurant had no other customers, but we were never checked on after ordering at the counter. The food was probably the worst thing I've been served at a restaurant in years. The ribs were extremely tough, tasted like cinnamon and I ate about two bites. The only accompaniment was white rice. It was undercooked and left a fair amount of water on the plate. Wonderfully prepared meals.
Best in Champaign you eat African food. Service is friendly and welcoming, and the staff are happy to guide you if you’re new to African cuisine. It’s the kind of place where you leave full, happy, and already thinking about what you’ll try next time.
The food was delicious, freshly made, and served in a calm and welcoming atmosphere. I visited two African restaurants back to back, and the gourmet cuisine was absolutely 👌🏾. Everything was so good that I couldn’t resist ordering extra to take home. I highly recommend giving them a try, and I will definitely be visiting again and again!
