We usually eat at this Leo’s Coney Island at least once a week and have always enjoyed it, but today marks the third time this year we’ve had a bad experience here. Normally, you can expect to spend about 30 minutes from the time you sit down to when you leave. This time, hoping for a quick dinner, we ended up spending a frustrating 1 hour and 15 minutes. Went this Morning, service was just okay. I noticed the servers spend a lot of time chatting with each other while food sits in the ready window, as a result food is usually not served hot... Generally warm to cold!. They are also charging an egg surcharge which isn't warranted or listed on the menu. I wanted a gyro omelette but was told it would be extra for tzatziki and feta cheese!!
