I'd already taken my vintage 1994 dodge van to two other mechanics who couldn't do anything beyond diagnosis, due to the age of the vehicle and their inability to access the transmission. The estimates for "what it would cost if you can find someone" were on par with what I paid at Leon's, so I was prepared for the work costing more than I paid for the vehicle. Even though the repair was going to cost too much Chris was very helpful in explaining what happened to my car. Even held on to it for a day until I could get it towed back home. I Just wish the prices weren’t so expensive for a a complete rebuild. Overall still a good place with solid customer service.
ABSOLUTE SCAMMER!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!! Quoted $2000 for a job I can do in an hour. DISGUSTING. Originally quoted $3500. ONLY TO FIX TORQUE CONVERTER. I can drop a whole new trans for the same price. Money obsessed.
Took my ‘05 Wrangler here last month, needing to replace the TCM. The price was fair, repair was timely and they communicated well with me. I will go back for any transmission needs and recommend.
