I absolutely love in an admirable way PA Sloand. She is attentive and knowledgeable. So thankful for the referral from PA Erick King! She wears a bad suit too!
I was referred to PA Sloand by a back specialist MD within the practice for pain management help for a well-documented and serious back condition. It is interesting that PA Sloand’s reviews are either 5 star or 1 star. I wonder what her criteria is for deciding how she is going to treat someone. I wasn't drug-seeking. If I could, I would rate her zero stars. We recently had to visit her for my wife's pain. Despite my wife stating her specific condition, this PA very rudely denied that she doesn't have it. A condition that my wife has been dealing with for the last two years. She did not appear to show any sort of empathy towards us. It felt like we were being interrogated, and that she was extremely doubtful of my wife's pain. Ms. Alves always takes as much time as she needs for each patient. I have been seeing her for over 20 years for pain for Psoriatic Arthritis and have been very satisfied.
Dr. Alves is the best! She catches stuff my PCP misses. Would highly recommend her!
