Love this place. My favorite café spot in Evanston. Lovely cosy atmosphere...great drinks and snacks..pastries to due for and amazing chocolates. I akways seek this franchise out whenever im traveling domesticallyvand internationally!.
Stopped in here for a quick breakfast while running errands the other day. I ordered some coffee and a ham & cheese quaso, because that's what you do at a place like this. The vibe is smooth and low-key, but somehow makes it difficult to resist lighting a cigarette and staring thoughtfully out the window like you're in a black-and-white French film about heartbreak and tax policy. Delightful spot to grab a London fog and a ham and cheese croissant. Oh but the crepes are great too - actually I haven't had anything I didn't love 💕
Delicious Belgian chocolate. It is pricy - 6 pieces by weight ran me $13ish dollars with tax, so about $2 a chocolate depending on weight. But the flavor is worth it. I’d rather a few of these than a large amount of lower quality chocolate.
Not great experience. Dining was uncomfortable because owner was not able to manage conflict with customer. Awkward.
