Dr. Kotkin is a brilliant surgent who performed multiple complex procedures for me and my wife. He stands out from many other urologists i have seen in my life.
Did not mention drug interactions. Did not listen to my reports of symptoms. Unresponsive. Forgot to fill prescription. Basically just gaslit me and prescribed me a harmful drug claiming it would treat 'nerve damage', as he did not want to seriously consider real treatment.
Dr Kotkin was rude and belligerrent! He made me feel very uncomfortable! I was meeting him for the first time to talk about Prostate Laser Surgery... I was anxious about this and had many questions for him but he continually cut me off and thought my questions were silly! At one point he asked mockingly, "Are you planning to make babies??!!" Stay away at all costs . Your health depends on it. Poor communicator. Does not return messages. Jumps to the most extreme form of treatment and does not like to answer questions.Do not take a chance with this man under any circumstances.
I have never had a worse doctor office experience. Dr. Kotkin came into the office with an attitude. Belittled me for not bringing a physical copy of my ct scan from an er visit, even though I brought the typed up report. Spoke with me for less than ten minutes about how I need to be a responsible adult and should have know to bring a copy of the physical report when I was in the ER less than 48 hours ago, so no medical record dept would have been able to get me a copy of this by the time I met with him for an "emergency out... read more
He's a despicable man and ignorant human being. He performed a spermatocele cyst surgery on me while in the custody of the Essex County correctional facility in Middleton Massachusetts. He botched the surgery and caused pudendal neuralgia and pelvic floor disorder nerve entrapment damage and crippled me for life.

We had an emergency situation with my 97-year-old father, and Dr. Kotkin scheduled an appointment for him the same day. Doctor and his assistant were extremely patient with him, even though my father was doing everything very slowly: yet, Dr. Kotkin and staff were waiting and not rushing him even after the end of their work day.
