If this Dr had done a Pancreacreatic Enzyme he would have discovered mine was low 34. Normal is 100-200. This is the cause of the Diarrhea. All these years of suffering. But no he summed I a mental case I’m not he is.
I was very impressed with Dr. Baidoo knowledge. He took the time to explain the disease process and treatment. I don’t agree with the other reviewers. Clearly they have mistaken expertise for arrogance.
The staff was great. But the Doctor has a GOD complex out of this world. He does not listen and he told me that he was the only Doctor in the tri state area that knew everything when it comes to Crohn's Disease. He told me that your stomach doesn't cramp with Crohn's. So I'm not describing the same pain that Crohns patients have. He performed a colonoscopy. He took a biopsy and I bleed a lot for an entire week and a few days. I had cramping and pain that I've never had after a colonoscopy. Only for him to tell me that I had ... read more
To start with, it took several months to get in to see him for his Wednesday clinic. He is the only doctor in the VA Memphis that is allowed to treat Ulcerative Colitis or IBD. The flunky that scheduled my appointment, put me in for the wrong clinic and not Baidoo. Even though I was there at 1:15pm, he saw all of the scheduled patients before me. He would not treat people in a FIFO order. I waited two hours to see him. After that, I agree with all the other one star reviews on this page. I wish I had another choice.
I’ve never been to a doctor that doesn’t listen to his patients at all. He completely dismissed my concerns and made rude comments about my medical history. I’ve been back and forth for weeks wasting gas and time only for him to tell me I missed a CT he never ordered. Then for me to have to call 15 times to get the CT scheduled and then to have it canceled after I was there waiting for 2 plus hours. I’m looking for someone else now.
Works in an office that is impossible to get hold of and then has the audacity of claiming that you missed your appointment when you rescheduled it. So, wasted one whole morning and the guy won't even come out to see you; he sends nurses back and forth to send you away. Clearly someone with a God complex who has mistaken the Hippocratic oath for hypocrisy! Want to waste your day, by all means, please go there! I dare anyone at that office to come and say that this is inaccurate!
Dr Baidoo is a perfect physician who always treats his patients in patients center care fashion. Very comprehensive communication in the clinics and helpful recommendations.
Dr. Baidoo treated me when he worked at UPMC in Pittsburgh. Excellent gastroenterologist- I highly recommend him. Sorry he left Pittsburgh.
When in Pittsburgh, Pa at UPMC Dr. Baidoo was my daughters doctor. You couldn't meet a kinder more understanding doctor if you paid for one. He treated her as an individual, a person one on one, and when her Father passed on he sat with her on many occasions just to talk about "how she was doing". Dr. Baidoo is much missed .
