I am a Type 2 diabetic with a high A1C, yet this doctor refused to verify my covered medications because his office is a "small company" that doesn't want to do the administrative work. Don't trust the 300+ reviews for Grace Family Medicine. Dr. Leon Poveda is an unprofessional doctor who is constantly late, asks the same questions repeatedly, and doesn't take notes. He dropped me as a patient because verifying my diabetes medication with insurance was "too much work" for his small staff. I’ve heard of him delivering life-altering news about children’s bloodwork and then refusing to answer the phone. This clinic is impossible to reach and has zero ethics. He really cares for patients’ needs. He asks me many details of my conditions in the past so that he could diagnose me better and prescribe accordingly, especially explain me about my lab results. In short, he has done his best for the patients. Thank you so much.
