Neat place and glad the petroglyphs are covered to help with weathering
Leo Petroglyphs offers a glimpse into ancient creativity, with a bunch of sandstone carvings. While their true purpose remains a mystery, I like to imagine that ancient children were doodling out of boredom at this site. While I didn't have the opportunity to walk the nature trail, I imagine that the trail and accessible grounds make it a peaceful stop for folks interested in history and families alike.
Very interesting to see and try to decipher what they are and meant. It just takes a few minutes to walk to the shelter to see the petroglyphs. Very interesting
Trail is beautiful. Some recent downed trees, could use a volunteer weekend. Some jackwagons have defaced the petroglyphs, but likely not recently.
It is a good place to see history
