They add extra charges to your card without telling you. Seen it twice when I’ve grabbed a drink. Say “$5,” register says $5, then the charge on the card later is $5.25”. No posting anywhere about card fees. Shady. Also sometimes their dairy is bad. Clearly not kept cold. Dont know where any of these “I love this place!” reviews come from. A quick look inside shows you that this is a last resort when there’s nothing open early or you don’t want to walk to 1st.
For a small, neighborhood deli that describes itself as "no-frills," charging $8.99 plus tax for two eggs and homefries (no toast), sounds upper-end deli frills to me. (Average price NYC deli for same order is $6-9. ) so, there ya go.
I love Lenz’s 🥰 Neighborhood favorite. Food is always great and the guys are always lovely.
