"Dr." Mantel is a joke. – I don't normally ever bother to take the time to write reviews about services, but my experience with Dr. Mantel at LensCrafters at Ross Park Mall in Pittsburgh was so unbelievable horrendous that I just had to let everyone know to NOT WASTE THEIR TIME AND MONEY on this awful, arrogant, condescending, worthless "doctor." Beware of bullying tactics – I would NOT recommend this office for any eye examination. The doctor was arrogant and disdainful at my questions about his examination of my eyes. I wanted specific answers -- but he seemed to feel they were unneccessary and bothersome. As for his staff -- no patient should put up with that bullying either. Worst Lenscrafters – Two things: First, brought in a new frame, asked them to put in a lens that had fallen out, these crooks put the lens in but used a different screw (never did give back the original frame's screw) and damaged the screw holes by misaligning the frame in order to jam the lens in and make it fit. They take your frames to the room in the back, jack with it, and then some 18-year old girl hands it back to you and you never get to talk to the drop-outs who messed your frame up. Dr. Mantel and staff are TERRIBLE – Give your business to anyone else. Both the female associate and Doctor Mantel are pompous, disrespectful and rude. Female associate lied to my face that if my contacts didn't work they could be brought back, but failed to mention that I can only get store credit which was useless once the original contacts irritated my eyes.
