My mother has been at Lenox On The Lake for over four years. It is very clean. The staff is very nice kitchen CNA‘s laundry women everyone that works there. I want to especially recognize the new director this year. Her name is Laura Johnson. She is an asset to this company and she is the best director we’ve had and we’ve gone through four in the last 4 1/2 years. They also have a great girl in accounting. Her name is Melanie. After a tough experience at another facility, moving my dad to Lennox on the Lake felt like a breath of fresh air. From the start, Laura (the administrator) has been unbelievably kind, helpful, and generous—she made what could have been a stressful transition feel easy for both of us. Several people I trust (a friend, a doctor, and a case manager) all recommended Lennox, and I can see why. I have left several messages over the past 2 weeks for someone to contact me regarding my grandmother becoming a resident. Never got a response...not sure I would to place my loved one in a facility where I can't reach a live person. For the price you would think the customer service would be better.
Memory Care - and I use the word Care as just the title. This place is horrible. There is NO CARE - they also DO NOT CARE- it looks nice, but they hire unqualified individuals that are just there to sit on their phone or watch tv, they don't care at all. We had my dad there for 3 months and the decline was so fast. They throw food on a table and pick up the untouched food when the next meal is ready.
