I came In 2 days after giving birth to my baby from a c-section. My stomach was huge as if I was still pregnant and I was so sensitive to the touch, it was the worst pain I have ever felt in my life and I was so scared. She seemed nice at first. But when I asked if I can request to go on maternity leave earlier than 36 weeks. She cut me off before I even finished asking the question. She didn’t even let me explain my situation as to why I was requesting early leave. Her reason was “the baby’s healthy, so there’s no reason for you to go early”. She gave me an accommodation note for work but it’s not going to change anything. She also wasn’t going to ask if I have comments or concerns after she was done seeing me.
