My daughter and son in-law were looking at a home in Land O Lakes, FL the Connerton neighborhood. They are ready to buy, even pre-approved with Lennar. Lennar says they have to close on October 31to get the deal, and they need to close on November 3. No flexibility at all. I am shocked that they will not allow to adjust by a few days to earn their business. I understand weeks but the Friday vs the Monday?
Don’t go with a Lennar home unless you want your home to fall apart. Our neighbors have all had their bathroom mirrors fall down off the wall and shatter and a few of us have had our sinks fall out. Ours just fell out last night while doing dishes. Great workmanship.
There is a flaw in the lot design. People are driving in the grass and it’s turning into a mud pit and Lennar tells me it’s not their problem to take it up with the HOA and HOA has told me to take it up with Lennar. Someone take responsibility and sent an email. And that resolved nothing. Lennar takes all steps to minimize cost including the insulation in the attics. The insulation is met to minimum code at the opening and tapers down below code at the ends
