This is a predatory lender. I lost about $1000 and almost lost my $5000 earnest money. Was under contract for a home and was working with Fairway Independent Mortgage as my lender but along the line I needed to reduce down payment to 10% for which I got approved everywhere else, 5 different lenders at the time, but Fairway and Evelyn refused.
