The owners Lena and Bob Erwin began the business in a small shop in the Fairfield, Tx. area more than 25 years ago. It was a one person shop. As the business grew rapidly an extra groomer was added. After 12 years the decision was made to build a kennel at the owners residence just to see if it would be worth while. The area only offered pet boarding thru the Veterinary Hospitals, it never saw such a place as Lena's Groom & Board Resort. Within the first 2 years the kennel out grew itself . All 3 of my dogs have came home with kennel cough and have had to go to the vet.They all 3 were very thirsty when we got home.Not to mention, our rabies papers being lost.
