If you have multiple diagnoses, specifically autoimmune, vitamin deficiencies, Celiac, etc., pass on Dr. Derani, as sadly she has no background knowledge on those areas. She is quick to blame all blood test abnormalities on medicine and quick to want to change them. Find another doctor if you have controlled seizure disorder and do not want to have a doctor make drastic changes or continuously discuss changing your medicine that works.
First time meeting Dr. Derani after years of terrible neurologists and being dismissed. She was kind, thorough, patient, and very informative. She ordered tests, explained the current concerns, and further explained course of action per specific outcomes. I opted to be put on their call list for an appointment because they were scheduling 8 months out and was given a call within less than a week.
