I love Dr Jacob. While the front desk staff sometimes create unnecessary roadblocks, I think this is due to system-wide issues with phone service. Dr Jacob always responds to my messages on the portal within a day or two. She never rushes my appointments. She listens carefully, looks up former procedures or lab results to compare, communicates with my other doctors (even outside of the Northwell system) and she gives great referrals to specialists when needed. Great doctor, very professional and caring.
I am pleased with Dr. Lena Jacob. SHe was a little harsh, but, now I understand why. I am completely in her hands.
I was in search of a new MD due to my other doctor left the practice. y friend recommended Dr. Jacob to me and I was extremely happy with her service. Dr. Jacob took the time to get to know me and my medical issues. The person who wrote a bad review was complaining about the staff not the doctor and the staff works with numberous doctors at this practice.. Take that to mind when reading these reviews. NOTE: they never even saw Dr. Jacob.
Dr.Jacob is One of the Best Doctors I've encountered. She's Very thorough and caring. She takes her time and explains everything to you, and always follows up after the appts.
