Dr Doberne has been my endocrinologist for over 20 years. I have received care from him that has been above all expectations. In my opinion, there is no better qualified, more knowledgeable or compassionate doctor in the business. I moved recently and will miss my appointments with this kind soul.
Dr. Doberne is one of the best Medical Practitioners I know. He cares very deeply for his patients and is incredibly knowledgeable in so many areas. He is also very willing to say when he is not familiar with something. He takes a great deal of time with each patient and you never feel rushed. He has helped me immensely with my health in the 20+ years I have been his patient.
Dr. Doberne is a wonderful doctor. He is especially skilled at thyroid biopsies. He has a great bedside manner and is very wise in determining medication levels.
My daughter was refused refill of her Synthroid prescription by this endocrinologist. To say he understands hypothyroidism and still denies her medicine says to me that he's heartless and unprofessional. He told her unless she quite cancelling her appointments (because of unscheduled work meetings!) that he would no longer authorize her Synthroid refills and to find another doctor who could accommodate her work demands. Synthroid is vital to thyroid patients! Don't waste your time with this guy!
Dr. Doberne is a very caring physician. He's a hands on Doctor, meaning he'll contact the hospital to schedule a procedure or book your next appointment. He spends quality time with his patients to ensure they understand & help them feel comfortable. He has called me on weekends to ensure my tests were done or to verify the process for a procedure.
