I initially started my divorce process in Wake County. Just for her to take and start my divorce process I paid her 15k. After I ran out of retained money I paid Len Mueller about another 10k. In total I paid this attorney about 25k After multiples attempt to settle my case outside court hearings, I decide to dismiss in Wake County Court house. Great attorney with great people working for her.
In my case, Mueller easily accepted a fee for advice, but was much less eager to provide any service in return. The "consultation" consisted of a ($400) phone call with mostly background sounds of the requested documents being shuffled about. The few comments provided implied that they had not been adequately reviewed. This lack of concern and preparation left me with no more information than before contacting Mueller.
