I must admit, I had my doubts. I knew little of Lemon Squad except that the original owner was not involved any more. Pretty scary. I went for it, anyway. After the first assigned tech was unable to do the job, a second tech was assigned. He got the inspection done way earlier than expected. He was quite thorough and professional. Money well spent on a pre-purchase inspection. Saved me from walking into a nightmare. Truck was completely misrepresented by seller with misleading photos and no mention of excessive rust, leaking fluids or front end clunking. Thank you Lemon Squad!
I have seen bad reviews from Lemonsquad.I assume it depends on the inspector.In my experience,I had a fantastic inspector.I still haven't seen the vehicle,but he did a very thorough inspection for $214.The report shows he spent quite some time and even got underneath the vehicle and found a little rust under the Audi S3 Im purchasing.He used a tire monitor for tread wear,OBD scan,drove the car,and even counted every scratch and paint chip.So far I am very impressed,and it set my mind at ease.Check engine light was on,which h... read more
Because of the report I decided not to buy the car. I live 700 miles away so the report was worth the effort. There were unexpected problems with suspension, windows and in general the car was not well taken care of. Thank you Lemon Squad.
