Dr. Soto is an excellent surgeon. Just as important, he makes his patients feel comfortable and respected and will take the time to listen and answer patient questions, explaining any procedures clearly and thoroughly. He is truly compassionate and will spend any time necessary during follow-up visits to check on his patients' progress. I highly recommend him.
What an amazing doctor!!!
As a physician, I was immediately impressed with Dr. Soto’s quiet competence and, his modesty coupled with self assurance. My wife, who is his patient, experienced major abdominal surgery that required significant manipulation of major organs. Within 48 hours, postoperatively she was pain free and close to her normal self without the use of any opioids or pain relievers. Dr. Soto is a doctor’s doctor, a superb master of his craft.
Dr. Soto is a gifted surgeon and a lovely human being. I felt that his knowledge and skill , combined with his clear explanations of the procedure and assistance in scheduling put him in a class by hinself. My procedure was complicated and required extreme skill and extensive training, as well as a history of having performed this procedure many times. I would enthusiastically recommend Dr Soto to any friend or relative in need of a highly trained e surgeon. Bonnie R., 1/30/19
Very attentive to patient's concerns and needs. Thorough in explaining diagnosis and corrective surgery.
We were informed by Dr Soto and his team that my aunt has ischemic colitis (dead bowel) and needed surgery emergently while a patient in Griffin Hospital ICU. It was decided by family to transfer her to another area hospital for this higher level of care. It was determined within 2 hours after admit to second hospital that this was misdiagnosed. She had a liver abscess requiring drain placement. Her outcome would of most likely been grave had we trusted his clinical decision and had surgery.
From my initial visit to Dr. Soto's office, I found him to be patient and informative, spending as much time as I needed to answer my questions. On the day of my surgery, he stopped by before to greet me and after surgery talked to my wife about how everything went, then saw me twice before I left the hospital. I found him to be kind and personable and an excellent surgeon and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a surgeon.
