U of M has been slipping up lately. I have a heart condition due to chemo and radiation therapy when I was younger. I was on oral birth control pills while under Dr. Leja’s Care and we would review my prescriptions each visit so she should’ve been aware of that. Turns out if you have a heart condition and you’re also on pills with estrogen you’re at a risk for clotting and strokes. Which is exactly what happened, TWICE!
